After studying chemical engineering at the TU/e in Eindhoven, I developed myself more broadly. The common thread is business. I want to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals with my talents via Planet, People, Profit. I have learned that a healthy cash flow is essential. After my starting position as a process technologist, I developed from product developer, marketer, innovation manager, business incubation manager to founder and director of a cleantech startup. I obtained a master's degree in business marketing and developed myself as a manager, leader and coach. We have managed a wide range of projects for both small short term results and for high risk disruptive innovations. We used a set of metrics to steer the portfolio and the allocation of resources. As an entrepreneur, I have learned how to deal with many stakeholders, alignment, continuous improvement, innovation, money customers, investors, strategy, business plans, financial plans, due dilligence, legal and financial staging of the investments in companies. I see the role as Startup Innovation Lead as a logical and attractive next step in my career. I loved my work as founder of a Startup. I have learned what it takes to turn a disruptive or incremental idea into a successful business. It is my ambition to prepare Startup teams for scaling in global markets.

I have achieved: patents on my inventions for the BIPV facade ZigZagSolar, meeting all legal requirements for safety and the environment, scope 12, collaboration with ECN, TNO, TU/e, Zuyd, collaboration in the UAE and India, good relationship with the Ministry of Renewable Energy in India, built a strong team, managed and coached professionals, the first solar facades in the Netherlands, built the largest solar facades in the Netherlands, unique worldwide, fought for every cent, attracted investors, prepared JV in UAE, built a sales funnel from 5 MEuro, value of my company from 0 Euro to 2 MEuro
